The Emergency Department should be used for serious or life-threatening medical problems.  If you experience any of the following symptoms, do not wait. Call 911 or get to Oak Valley Hospital immediately.

  • Chest pain
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
  • Sudden dizziness, blurred vision or loss of balance
  • Numbness in face, arms or legs
  • Sudden, severe headaches
  • Deep cuts or bleeding that does not stop
  • Coughing up or vomiting blood
  • Severe burns
  • Seizures
