Location: Oakdale, CA
The Physician’s Assistant, under the Providers direction is responsible for performing medical examination, diagnosis common medical conditions, managing stable phases of chronic illness, coordinating health management and assisting the clinic provider in delivering care to patients. The Medical Director supervises the Physician’s Assistant under the delegation of services agreement (DSA). This position may also function independently performing off-site physical examinations.
Satisfactory completion of a formal Physician’s Assistant Training Program at an accredited institution
Knowledge and understanding of customs and beliefs and needs of a consumer group(s) served
High School graduate or equivalent required.
One (1) year experience as a Physician Assistant
Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
Able to record information accurately in English
Bilingual (English/Spanish), written and verbal, preferred
Current California Certification as a Physician’s Assistant
Masters level preferred or equivalent
Current AHA BLS
